This is important

There was a platoon of Gurkhas fighting in in the depths of the Burmese jungle who were captured by the Japanese and put into a POW camp. One of them managed not only to escape, but also to break into the office of the Japanese commanding officer and steal a map. He made his way back to Rangoon over the next several days, and reported into HQ. The officer there asked him how he managed to find his way back. The soldier showed him the map that he had stolen and said he had used it to find his way to Rangoon. The map was a ca. 1930 map of London.

Wow! Another one right quick. Keepin' it short, just like the song I'm talking about. Seriously though, *69? I mean, sure, I was all of... ten years old when this song came out, so maybe *69 was a new thing back then, but still could you imagine someone writing a song about their call-display feature in this day & age? I guess technology was a new a frightening thing back then, "I know you called!", "What? Really? How dare you! How am I supposed to call you and breathe heavily on the other end if you can find out who I am! Stalkers Rights! Solidarity!" yada yada yada. It's not a bad song, I guess.
